Kit is a principal consultant, trainer, and author whose interests includes energy and net zero, occupational health and safety (OH&S) management, and environment, social, and governance (ESG).
He consults extensively with businesses, both commercial and industrial companies across five continents, and when training and coaching, he works through the British Standard Institute (BSI). Notable engagements include designing energy and climate change regulations in the UK; providing mandatory health and safety awareness in Sharjah, UAE; providing waste regulation guidance in Singapore; drafting guidebooks on integrated management systems (ISO), energy efficiency (UNEP), and ISO 50001 (ISO/UNIDO) and promoting good governance in energy, environment, and health safety in India, Zambia, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Nigeria, Uganda, Namibia, USA, Canada, Mexico, and Ethiopia.
With over 25 years' experience, Kit is skilled at understanding technical and managerial challenges, working with different stakeholders, managing multi-disciplinary projects, identifying opportunities for improvements, troubleshooting performance deficits, and reporting and communicating complex and technical subjects in a clear, meaningful and simple-to-understand business case.
He is a Chartered Chemical Engineer, a Member of the Energy Institute and a Fellow of the Energy Managers' Association. He has a BEng (Hons) in Chemical Process Engineering and Fuel Technology an MSc in Environmental and Energy Engineering from the University of Sheffield.
