Plant and Production Management
Online | Face-to-face | In-company
Overview
This course explores the key technical and non-technical skills required by a plant/production manager. It is primarily designed for new plant and production managers.
Many of the non-technical skills required by a new manager are similar regardless of the industry in which they work. However, this course explores their application in the process industries, as well as the unique technical management skills required in a plant or production role, including process safety, regulatory compliance, management of change and process optimisation. The course also covers the core requirements of good project management and new product development.
The course covers the key competencies and characteristics typically required by new new plant and production managers, identified as part of a recent IChemE research project.
