Policy
Policy
The IChemE Policy and Impact team takes the insights, skills and wisdom of chemical engineers and applies them to some of the biggest problems facing the world today. If you would like to learn more about what chemical engineering is and its importance to the UK, please read our short briefing for policymakers.
We produce a variety of materials and input to help policymakers make better decisions. We work primarily in Westminster, but also engage more broadly across the UK and internationally, particularly in Australia. View our policy work and consultation responses.
We are a proud and active member of a number of coalitions, including the Royal Academy of Engineering’s National Engineering Policy Centre.
If you are interested in collaborating or you would just like to have a chat about some work that you think might be of interest, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line at policy@icheme.org.
