Overview
CO2 capture is receiving a lot of attention in the press as a leading contributor to address climate change and fluid separations are at the core of the process. As we begin to commercialise CO2 capture, how are separation processes developing to meet the multiple challenges of separating CO2 ready for storage or utilisation? From large scale equipment to process intensification, what solutions are we rolling out?
We have a packed programme with seven speakers from industry as well as a keynote introduction.
- Keynote: CCS and industry – A technology for today and tomorrow
- The selection and design of column internals for post combustion capture towers (Koch-Glitsch)
- Carbon capture and storage and energy cogeneration using bio-waste (Ricardo)
- Intensified absorption for modular carbon capture (Carbon Clean)
- Efficient decarbonisation of lime and cement production (Leilac)• Industrial-scale manufacture of metal-organic framework materials for carbon capture utilisation and storage applications (Promethean Particles Ltd)
- Advanced carbon capture technology (Aker Carbon Capture)
- Amine and nitrogen-free post-combustion absorption of CO2 (C-Capture)
