Overview
The webinar will consist of a non-technical introduction and explanation of green chemistry and sustainability and how this fits into the requirements of a responsible 21st century global society. Emphasis will be paid to the optimisation of existing industrial processes and how this can be technically and economically assisted by emerging scientific techniques so as to develop commerce, solve industrial challenges within society and improve efficiency without detriment to the environment and mankind. Rejuvetech Ltd is a UK based technology company that specialises in supplying bespoke solutions to users and producers of chemicals.
Speaker
Dr David J P Hogg, Rejuvetech Ltd
An experienced organic chemist and company Director with a demonstrated successful history of working and problem solving within the scientific research and development industry. Experienced in research, business planning, management, marketing and business strategy, David is an established professional with a Doctorate in organic chemistry focused on some key mechanistic aspects of organic chemistry. David read Chemistry at Sheffield Hallam and Bangor Universities and continues to lecture part-time in sustainable chemistry at Sheffield Hallam University.

Format
A one-hour online session: 40 minutes' presentation + 20 minutes' Q&A.
Duration (for CPD recording purposes): up to one hour.
