Overview

The Industry Tour is designed to promote and increase awareness of Lean Six sigma and process intensification techniques being applied in the pharmaceutical sector. Our guest speaker will aim to highlight the importance of these techniques in the processing industry. The event also presents an opportunity to showcase Sterling Pharma's capabilities and how it tackles the challenges faced in the current market.

The event will consist of three different Plant Tours at Sterling Pharma Solutions - giving the attendees a chance to find out more about either the Bio Plant, Main Plant Areas or the Laboratories.

Speakers

Fabio D'Agostino, IASSC™ Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Trainer and Coach

Dr Fabio D'Agostino is a high achieving and global-oriented Biomedical Engineer with an Engineering Doctorate in Biopharmaceutical Process Development and a passion for operational excellence. He has managed complex projects under conditions of high uncertainty both independently and in global matrix organizations. Fabio has a track record in building strong relationships with stakeholders across 4 continents and in identifying strategic business opportunities and alliances.

Brian Alliston, Data Integrity Expert & CDS Specialist for Sterling Pharma Solutions Ltd

As the Head of Chromeleon Administration Team and the department's Data Integrity Specialist, Brian supports a multi-functional group of quality control and development analysts in the use of Chromatography Data System (CDS) and the development of training procedures, standard operating procedures and product-specific report templates. 

With a degree in applied chemistry from Northumbria University, Brian has over 18 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry working in both QC and development environments.
