Chris Thornton, Coordinator, European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform
Chris coordinates the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform (ESPP) since its establishment in 2013. ESPP promotes sustainable phosphorus management and nutrient recycling in Europe. It is 100% funded by the membership fees of over 50 companies, research institutes and national platforms, in water and waste industries, fertilisers, chemicals, recycling technologies and other sectors.
Paul Roeleveld, Leading Professional, Royal Haskoning DHV
Paul is almost 35 years active in the municipal wastewater sector. Just before he started working, he finished an internship at EAWAG, Zurich on the topic of struvite production in digester supernatant. P-recovery has since then been a recurring topic during his career. Nowadays Paul is working as a Leading Professional at Royal Haskoning DHV on the topic of Wastewater Treatment & Resource Recovery.
