Overview
This webinar is an initial introduction to problem solving and troubleshooting in process operations. It gave some tips to operations personnel on how to effectively troubleshoot problems on process plants. Solving problems quickly and effectively leads to increased safety, productivity and saves money. Some key skills include:
- orientating (sensing, perception, discriminating)
- evaluation (internal information processing)
- acting (physical or verbal response)
- assessing (external information processing).

Mark Dixon, Simulation Training Instructor, ESD
Mark has over 25 years of experience delivering training courses with ESD Simulation. He is a Chartered Gas Engineer and a member of IChemE. Through his experience in power generation, chemical production, oil and gas production, refineries, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and pipeline operations, Mark brings practical knowledge and expertise to each course he delivers.
