This event is about implementing IIoT and Industry 4.0, and learning about some of the myths and realities. Case studies will be shared on digitisation of maintenance and energy saving insights in eg a waste water treatment plant.

Richard Jeffers, Founder and Managing Director, RS Industria

Richard is the Founder and Managing Director of RS Industria. He is a corporate innovator using technology to find new solutions to old problems in manufacturing, operations and maintenance.

Richard trained as a mechanical engineer, over the years he has broadened his skills to exploring ways to inspire people to embrace all elements of technology to lead transformational change delivering commercial and brand benefits. Through a varied career, he has developed a range of skills in leadership, programme management, operational, maintenance and capital project management and, most recently, how to bring Industry 4.0 to life, specifically around the digitisation of maintenance.

Whilst having a deep understanding of the technology, his key skill is in making the complex simple and understanding how technology can solve real world problems.
