Speaker

Susanna Voges, Director of Operations, Voovio

Susanna began her educational journey in 1997 when she attended Hamburg University of Technology, where she obtained a Dipl.-Ing. in Verfahrenstechnik in 2002. In 2000-2001, she attended École des Mines de Saint-Étienne for Génie des procédés. In 2001, she completed a student research project at Massey University in Process Engineering.

Finally, Susanna returned to Hamburg University of Technology and obtained her Dr. Ing in Verfahrenstechnik in 2007. In addition to her formal education, Susanna has obtained two additional certifications: Systemische Organisationsentwicklung - Kompakt from wispo AG in 2022, and the Hamburger VDI Preis 2004 from VDI e.V.

Bas Janssen, Sales Director, Voovio

Bas started out as an inside sales engineer for configuring and engineering to order products, to supporting sales nationally and internationally with product knowledge training, sales tools, competition knowledge, and product troubleshooting, to then being a product manager, focusing on product fitting market requirements, cost / margin perspective and lead time requirements.

After finishing his Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering he gained experience in various roles within international companies, like Alfa Laval, Pentair & Emerson.
