Webinar: Pharma Special Interest Group Annual Meeting 2020
- Date From 1st July 2020
- Date To 1st July 2020
- Price Free
- Location Online: 11:00 BST. Duration: 3 hours.
Overview
In these exceptional times, we are moving to hold the AGM as a virtual meeting.
The committee would welcome additional involvement from the membership, and in particular we are looking for volunteers for the positions of Vice Chair and Vice Secretary, with a view to becoming the Chair and Secretary next year.
Alternatively, you may wish to participate in an area of specific personal interest. For example, some of the current initiatives where you could contribute are to:
- Author or co-author a TCE article under the broad topic of “Delivering Healthcare in the 21st Century”.
- Produce a webinar for the series titled “The Role of Chemical Engineers in Pharmaceutical Development”.
- Represent the SIG as a Pharma specialist on the IChemE Learned Society working groups and other industry associations. The Learned Society has three priority topics in their 2024 strategy, namely Responsible Production (encompassing sustainability/climate change), Major Hazards Identification and Management, and Digitalisation.
Your own ideas would be appreciated as well. Please email specialinterestgroups@icheme.org with any ideas.
Please note that although the webinar software has been booked for this time, the meeting may not run the full three hours.
