The Chair of POPSIG Yang Berbahagia Professor The Chair Professor Ir Dr Chong Mei Fong conveyed her warmest congratulations to the Yang Berbahagia Dato' Dr. Suzana Idayu Wati Osman on her appointment as the Chairwoman of Malaysian Palm Oil Certification Council (MPOCC) effective 11 April 2023.

About Malaysian Palm Oil Certification Council (MPOCC)

MPOCC was incorporated in December 2014 under the Companies Act 2016 and governed by a 13-Member Board of Trustees. The objectives of MPOCC are to engage with NGOs, institutions of higher learning, trade associations, accreditation and certification bodies in Malaysia; establish and operate a sustainable palm oil certification scheme in Malaysia; and, establish a mechanism for the certification of entities complying to the requirements of auditable sustainability standards.
