Overview
Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) - a partner of IChemE Palm Oil Processing Special Interest Group - will host a joint webinar with Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak about the Palm Oil Educational Outreach Programme. Five experts will share their knowledges covering a wide variety of topics, and Dr Ruslan Abdullah will moderate the forum "Career Opportunities in the Palm Oil Industry". Please note that IChemE will not be storing or monitoring any data linked to this MPOC-hosted event.
Theme: Expanding Young Minds for the Future of Palm Oil
The programme aims at young adults in tertiary education in the efforts to improve knowledge and understanding on the benefits and related issues on palm oil. With the understanding about palm oil as one of the world’s leading sources of dietary fat, the programme will highlight the versatility and the functional superiority of palm oil, as well as the sustainability and conservation efforts in its industry. The online event covers five experts' presentations, a forum session on career and future research prospects in the palm oil industry, as well as an interactive Kahoot quiz and a lucky draw session.
