Overview

The European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) is a complex regulation that places new regulatory burdens on specific commodities imported into the EU. Palm oil is one of the commodities listed. With the stated aim of reducing the EU’s importation of products linked to deforestation, EUDR has a broad and expansive reach that affects Malaysia’s small farmers, large businesses, traders, and others throughout the supply chain.

As businesses navigate the evolving landscape of environmental regulations, the role of certifications such as the Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) certification has emerged as a pivotal tool in assisting businesses in meeting the requirements of the EUDR. This webinar will explore the role of MSPO and its ability to meet the EUDR requirements.
