Overview

The International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) includes integrated energy companies, national oil companies, independent upstream operators, service companies, and industry associations operating around the globe, supplying over 40% of the world’s oil and gas demand. Industry experts have developed the IOGP Energy Transition Integrated Framework as a comprehensive resource to support upstream oil and gas organisations travelling the road to decarbonization. It allows users to navigate to up-to-date and authoritative guidance covering:

  • Foundation improvements – methane management, flaring/venting/fugitives reduction, efficiency improvement
  • Decarbonisation pathways – electrification/renewables, carbon capture, alternative fuels

Industry experts will provide an overview of the framework and then use more detailed examples for methane and flaring management to illustrate the application of the guide. The webinar will be of interest the engineers involved in oil and gas and the energy transition, as well as academics and others looking for authoritative guidance on the latest state-of-play in the industry.
