Brexit, COVID and other thoughts… During this webinar Professor Ian Noble, Senior Director of R,D&Q at Mondelez, will take some time to consider the implications of the past and coming years on the food and drink industry globally and with regard to the evolving EU landscape. Focusing in on the impact on manufacturing, product launches, remote trialling, the increasing importance of modelling and simulation, expected changes in EU funding, CE marking and more.

Ian leads Mondelēz’s Chocolate Technology Group, accountable for the strategic technical innovation agenda for brands including Cadbury’s Dairy Milk and Milka around the world, together with in-market competitive product quality. He led the BREXIT technical work programme within Mondelez, preparing and transitioning the European business to a post BREXIT operating environment, and navigating through the pressures that COVID brought throughout this.
Ian is committed to strengthening the technical agenda that enables our Food System in the UK and beyond to enable greater productivity, growth and sustainability for this vital sector of our modern economy. He is a member of several external advisory boards including the Global Food Security Strategy, N8 AgriFood, Future Food Beacon at Nottingham University and ISCF-MADE SMARTER, and he chairs the UK Food Sector KTN.
