The Fluid Mixing Processes Special Interest Group is concerned with mixing phenomena in which at least one component is a liquid. Activities include:
- regular information discussion meetings on fluid mixing problems
- promotion of contact between practising and university research workers, to stimulate the application of academic research results in industry and to encourage academic research programmes which take account of industrial problems
- close liaison with the European Federation of Chemical Engineering Working Party on Fluid Mixing.
