Overview
Established in 1964, Dunphy Combustion is family owned and managed. The company designs, manufactures, installs and maintains a wide range of combustion equipment, digital control solutions and turnkey prefabricated, packaged boiler houses. Their products and services are exported worldwide, and the company has won several of the Queen's Awards for Export and Innovation.
The central manufacturing complex in Rochdale comprises three main buildings which house production, research and development and equipment and fuel testing departments.

Technical talk
- efficient operation and control of combustion with common fuels, e.g. natural gas, and biogas.
- emissions and the control of products of combustion during turndown and modulation and simultaneous firing of common fuels e.g. natural gas and biogas.

Visit to test and manufacturing facilities for design and build of:
- fuel oil burners and including simultaneous combustion, special builds for furnace and process burners
- gas booster
- natural gas control valves
- control panels, for burner and boilers, sequencing and interface with site BMS / SCADA packages.

Support by own R&D for electrical / mechanical design CAD packages for the design and manufacture.

This event is open to all, including non-members of IChemE.
Attendees are requested to bring steel-capped footwear for the visit. Other PPI equipment required will be supplied by Dunphy Combustion.
