Overview
During this meeting we will review events over the last year and summarise our budget. Discussion will be opened about the balance of in-person versus online events, the types and topics of technical meetings people would like to see/attend, involving more early career people and improving gender balance on the committee. In particular, attracting sufficient numbers for in-person events and criteria for cancellation of events.
Vacant committee roles
Volunteering is a great way to develop personal skills and network with other professionals, as well as the opportunity to positively support the advancement of chemical engineering. It is widely accepted that volunteering will help you meet new people, learn new skills, contribute to your continuing professional development (CPD), and even advance your career.
