Overview
Cellular agriculture is a relatively new field in which typically animal-derived agricultural products are produced through processes that rely on cells, rather than through the typical farm-based processes that rely on the animals.
This one-day conference will cover the current status of cellular agriculture with a focus on new developments and innovations in the production of cell-based products (eg cultivated meat, cultivated leather) and precision fermentation-based products (eg cultured milk, alternatives to palm oil etc). This conference is suitable and open to all engineers, scientists and entrepreneurs interested in the sector and it will be hosted at the Chancellor's Building, University of Bath.
