Overview

This panel discussion will focus on how process engineers can successfully pivot into different roles. The session will feature a panel of professionals who have made these career transitions, including a transformation lead, a crude and product scheduler, and a measurements specialist.

The discussion will cover the motivations behind their career shifts, the transferable skills that process engineers bring to new fields, the challenges they faced, and how they overcame them. Panelists will share their experiences and provide practical advice on positioning oneself for a successful transition. The webinar will also allow time for audience questions.

Speaker

Meera Rampersad, Offsite and Measurement Superintendent, Phoenix Park Gas Processors Limited

Meera currently manages offsite activities, measurements, shipping logistics and laboratory operations. Christina Changoor schedules onshore and offshore activities for the shipping terminal, managing inventory and projecting when imports are needed, handling and preparation of crude. Dillon Nancoo now leads initiatives that increase the productivity, performance and collaboration of his company’s workforce through strategic use of change management strategies that align with the company’s vision and objectives.

Christina Changoor, Crude and Product Scheduler, Paria Fuel Trading

Christina is a Crude and Product Scheduler at Paria Fuel Trading Company. She is in charge of scheduling onshore and offshore activities for the terminal, managing inventory and projecting when imports are needed, handling and preparation of crude for Heritage.

Dillon Nancoo, Team Lead - Transformation, Atlantic LNG

Dillon is the Team Lead - Transformation, Atlantic. The Transformation is responsible for identifying, planning and executing initiatives that can create a step change in the productivity, performance, wellbeing, agility, collaboration and environmental impact of Atlantic’s workforce.

Transformation lead accomplishes this through strategic use of change management strategies that align with the company’s vision and objectives. Ensuring that the resistance to change is managed using specific change management tools.
