Overview

Join us for our evening presentation that will explore why Industry 4.0 is so important to chemical engineering. We will have two guest speakers attending our event, as detailed below.

Speakers

David Lovett, Managing Director, Perceptive Engineering Ltd.

Perceptive Engineering implement multivariate predictive control solutions for a range of sectors of the process industries. Dave is working at the forefront of implementing Digital Operations approaches and will share his experience and insight into how Industry 4.0 can benefit chemical engineering in the future.

Chris Morris, Data Analyst, Life Sciences, STFC

The Hartree Centre in Daresbury, Cheshire provide national access to and support for high throughput computing. The term “Big Data” is frequently heard, but what does it mean and how can it help chemical engineers design and operate better processes and plants?
