Overview
Throughout the lifecycle of a project there are many different stakeholders, from designer to architect, fire engineer to building control, each bringing their own needs and perspectives such as value, operational requirements and legislative compliance. Increased demands to utilise sustainable construction materials, renewable energy sources and novel construction techniques, also compete for the attention of decision makers. This presentation seeks to explore how the business owner, broker and insurer can work together to better understand property fire risk and improve resilience in the built environment and the impact it can have on decision making and insurer appetite.
