David Cooper, Regional Partnership Manager for Clean Maritime, Catapult
David Cooper is the Regional Partnership Manager for Clean Maritime at the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult. Based out of the Operations and Maintenance Centre of Excellence in Grimsby and working on projects across the UK to accelerate the decarbonisation of maritime operations.
He is working with partners to develop the National Clean Maritime Demonstration Hub, a port scale ecosystem that will provide a test bed for the technologies, regulation and infrastructure – including Hydrogen refuelling - required for vessels to operate on zero emission fuels.
David joined ORE Catapult in January 2021 after graduating from the University of Cardiff with a Masters in ‘Sustainable Energy and the Environment’. Prior to this he had worked as a science and maths teacher.
