Overview

Come and find out how around one third of New Zealand’s wastewater is processed. Also have a look at the Innovation shed. This is the pilot projects hub, where new technologies are tested to reduce the impact on the planet and improve processes. Current projects include, greenhouse gas emission study,  Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor (MABR), InDense, direct water reuse and Thermal Hydrolysis (TH). 

This will be a guided tour of the accessible parts of the process. Due to construction, parts of the plant currently have restricted access.
