Overview

DNV Spadeadam has been instrumental in understanding fire and explosion events following major incidents such as Flixborough, Bruncefield and Piper Alpha. Their research helps to design facilities that protect both people and assets by conducting hazardous activities under controlled conditions. The insights gained from these studies contribute significantly to improving safety protocols across various industries.
