Overview

This interactive session, held in collaboration with National Early Careers Group (NECG) and the Midlands MG, is designed to provide expert guidance, answer your questions, and connect you with peers and mentors at different stages of the journey. This year, we're taking a surgery-style approach, where attendees can bring their questions to a panel of experienced professionals, recent applicants, and mentors. The discussion will cover key aspects of the Chartered application process, including:

  • insights from a long-time Chartered professional on how the process has evolved
  • first-hand experience from a recently Chartered member on the interview stage
  • guidance on Competence & Commitment (C&C) reports and Individual Case Procedure (ICP)
  • advice for those tracking experience or applying from non-accredited degree backgrounds
  • open Q&A and interactive discussions with mentors and peers.

Attendees are encouraged to submit questions in advance and participate in engaging activities such as polls and table discussions. Whether you're just starting out, preparing to apply, or looking to support others, this session will provide practical advice and networking opportunities.
