Overview
This is a social event to help expand and deepen your professional and useable network. The theme of the discussion, as a suggested ice breaker, is "What is the best engineering advice you have ever been given?"
This event will help you realise the benefits of growing your network, you'll also pick up some great tips and advice. By attending the event you will gain connections to help and support your career.
There will be a 4–5 mile walk, please bring your own picnic or make use of the lakeside café. Groups are welcome, this event is open to IChemE members, their partners and dogs.
Route: Starting from the carpark to the lake, round the lake, a refreshments stop and return to the carpark.
Meet point: By park entrance gate at Newtown Linford Car Park, LE6 0HB. (Operated by ANPR - pay at machine just before you leave by cash or card or contactless payment at the exit barrier).
