Overview

This meeting will be an opportunity to review the activity of the member group, looking back on the events of the previous year as well as looking forward to the events being planned for this year. This is your opportunity to share feedback on the sort of events you would like to see organised and how we can best communicate those events. If you are interested in becoming a member of the committee then this is your chance to meet the other members of the committee in person and discuss how best to get involved.

There will be a talk by Paul Shearing, University of Oxford on the topic of Batteries and Alternative Power Sources for Vehicles.

The meeting will be run as a hybrid meeting with Teams being used for speaker talk with questions and and then the review of the years activities, and the events lookahead. After the formal meeting, there will be the opportunity for those attending in person to network informally over drinks/ nibbles.

Speaker

Paul Shearing, University of Oxford

Paul is Professor of Sustainable Energy Engineering at the Department of Engineering Science and Director of the ZERO Institute at Oxford University. He holds the Royal Academy of Engineering Chair in Emerging Battery Technologies.
