Simon graduated in 1995 with a Bachelors degree in chemical engineering from Queens University. He has over 25 years' experience in the pharma industry, primarily in API.

Previous companies include Roche, Jacobs Engineering, Norbrook and Du Pont. He is currently supporting several capital projects introducing new products to sites in Italy, Ireland, Singapore and US.

His current job role is Global Senior Process Engineer (API) at AbbVie.
