David Pearce
David is a member of Fonterra’s Process Technology Improvement team and is based in Christchurch.
After completing his PhD in Christchurch, he spent nearly four years working in The Netherlands, completing a post-doc in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Delft and working as a project engineer for John Brown Engineers (now Kvaerner) in Zoetermeer.
He returned to New Zealand in 1994, to work as a research engineer in the milk powder section at the New Zealand Dairy Research Institute (now Fonterra). In his time at Fonterra, David has been in several Research and Development (R&D) roles including engineering and product application team management. More recently, he has moved to the Technical Excellence group, working with the R&D and manufacturing teams to implement new technologies.
