Ir Dr Ng Lik Yin received his MEng (hons) in chemical engineering and a PhD in engineering from The University of Nottingham. His specialisation covers areas of process system engineering, especially in computer-aided molecular design and synthesis, integration and optimisation of biomass processing processes. As an advocate for a clean and sustainable future, Dr Ng is using his expertise in designing green products, synthesising green production processes, and synthesising sustainable consumption and production frameworks.

Dr Ng is also active in industrial consultation projects, working with industries on utilities conversation projects and providing training to engineers. He is a member of IChemE's Palm Oil Processing Special Interest Group and supports school campaigns. He is a senior lecturer at Sunway University.
