Role requirements
Please find below the role profiles for the Congress member position, and the Congress Terms of Reference and its Regulations.
Geographical College roles
- All members (except student members) are eligible to stand who are located in relevant proximity to the seat
Membership College roles
- Chartered Members nominated and elected by the Chartered Members
- Associate Members (excluding early career members, who are now defined as <6 years in full or part-time employment/postgraduate study) nominated and elected by the Associate members (excluding early career members)
- Affiliate Members (excluding early career members) nominated and elected by the Affiliate members (excluding early career members)
- Only students are eligible to stand for the Student seat, and they can carry out their full term so long as they have not completed their final exams at the time of confirmation of election results, which takes place at the 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) in June
- One academic member nominated and elected by teaching academics (self declared)
