This webinar introduces Chemical Engineering Matters in more detail and describes how IChemE engages with its members through the four 'vistas' described in the document. The 'vistas' describe the key challenge areas facing society today where chemical engineers are providing solutions and making a difference to quality of life in water, energy, food and wellbeing. The webinar also presents what member feedback through engagement events is telling us so far.

Water management in the food and drink industry

In October 2014, IChemE published it's first green paper policy document - Water Management in the Food and Drink Industry. This webinar introduces the green paper in more detail. The main presentation is from Alexandre Le Vernoy, SABMiller water and food resources analyst, who discusses approaches to water management in more detail. Water is vital to the communities that are local to SABMiller breweries, without water, beer cannot be brewed.
