Hazards is about sharing experience and promoting safer working practices across industry. As our guest speaker at Hazards 27, Mark Gallagher, said: "Safety must never be an island of excellence in an ocean of mediocrity." In other words, good process safety practice should transcend organisational boundaries for the benefit of industry and society as a whole.

We invite you to share your experience with others by submitting a paper for the Hazards 28 technical programme.

Abstracts of up to 500-words are invited before 29 September 2017.

Who would we like to hear from?

We are keen to hear from a range of professionals, including industry practitioners, academic researchers, and industry regulators.

We'd like to hear about experience in a range of industry sectors including oil & gas, chemicals, offshore, power, laboratories, nuclear, food & drink, pharmaceuticals, water, manufacturing, renewable energy, agrochemicals, transmission networks of power, and transport of hazardous goods/supply chain.

We would particularly like to share hands-on experiences from those owning and managing risk within operating companies.

What are we looking for?

You may have latest research to share, or valuable feedback on recent challenges encountered and how you solved them. Perhaps others can learn from your company's systems and procedures, or from a specific case study.

Whatever your experience in process safety, if you think others can benefit, then we'd like to hear from you.
